Curved Table Leg being glued up

One of the curved dining tables legs for the Tahoe Table being glued up. The leg consists of three layers of wood with grain of the middle piece in an opposite direction for added strength.

I call this modern table, "The Tahoe Table" because I made it together with eight chairs for a client in Lake Tahoe. I continued to make furniture for the entire house including coffee tables that housed CDs and DVDs. There were four coffee tables that fitted together to form a large piece with a continuing inlay. The tables could also be separated and moved if desired.

For the expansive kitchen/breakfast area I made a round table with a contrasting inlay of an organic curving design. The table included four chairs with curving arms.
